What is Morpheus 8?

Morpheus 8 is a fractional skin treatment that stimulates collagen production of the underlying layers of the dermis. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, the building blocks will reorganise themselves in a natural anti-ageing process improving skin laxity.

The way Morpheus8 works is by creating micro-injuries on the skin using titanium microneedles, coupled with radiofrequency energy, which heats the layers deep to the skin. The micro-injuries, in combination with the radiofrequency heating stimulate a reaction in the skin, which (over the following 3-6 months) increases the levels of collagen and elastin in the skin, to tighten and lift and thicken the supporting layers of the skin. This makes it an ideal treatment for sagging, lax or sun damaged skin of all skin types.

Morpheus8, compared to other forms of radiofrequency microneedling or skin resurfacing has several benefits, including more precise targeting of skin depth for deeper tightening and reduced risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, by virtue of the silicone coating on the micro pins.

We would recommend 3 sessions initially followed by single sessions annually to maintain your results. For optimal results we recommend Profhilo as an adjunct to your treatment.
